Normally, people who cannot digest and enjoy foods with gluten or lactose cannot eat cakes or cupcakes. People like me, cannot enjoy normal cakes, cupcakes and other desserts because I am lactose intolerant.
We don’t want you to miss out on these wonderful tastes things, please let us know about your special dietary requirements when ordering. We can provide our products in this case in the same way we do all our products, with love and taste.
What is lactose intolerance?
Lactose intolerance is the inability or insufficient ability to digest lactose, a sugar found in milk and milk products. Lactose intolerance is caused by a deficiency of the enzyme lactase, which is produced by the cells lining the small intestine.
Not all people with lactase deficiency have digestive symptoms, but those who do may have lactose intolerance. Most people with lactose intolerance can tolerate some amount of lactose in their diet.
What is coeliac disease?
Coeliac Disease is a condition in which there is a persistently abnormal immunological reaction to dietary gluten, giving rise to tissue damage in the presence of gluten In order to follow a strict gluten free diet, a Coeliac must not eat foods that contain any form of gluten, which is found in WHEAT, BARLEY, RYE and OATS. Eating gluten causes the lining of the small intestine to become damaged thus reducing the coeliacs ability to absorb certain foods.

For that reason we only sell our products with orders with a minimum of two weeks in advance orders.

How will my order be delivered?
All orders are delivered by our carrier during business hours and a signature will be required at delivery place.
In addition to email notifications, you can request text message.
What to Expect?
Once your order ships we’ll send you an email. The email message will include your order number. We can even send you texts the day before delivery, on the day of delivery, or after your item has been “delivered”, depending upon your request.
Delivery costs and methods
Your order will be automatically dispatch as they become available. If more than one item is ordered, we will deliver them together to ensure you receive them as soon as possible.
When delivery is requested some charges might apply. Orders will be delivered by our carrier and will be subject to the distance from our main location in Bweeng. Delivery charges will be informed when order is confirmed.
If your order is being delivered to a business address, please be advised that our carrier will deliver to the front desk or delivery point and will request a signature from the supervisor, our carrier does not require a signature specific to the order details.
If you provide a home address which has a reception or concierge service our carrier will deliver to the concierge. The concierge can sign for the delivery as long as they have a fixed location in the reception or within the building.
I need to change my shipping address.
If you have not yet received your shipment notification you can amend your details by calling our shop at +353 21 733 3669 or contact us over Email Form.
I will not be at home at the scheduled delivery date.
As our carriers require a signature on delivery, the carrier will leave a calling card if you are not at home. You can then contact the carrier directly for a new delivery appointment during working hours at a suitable date or alternatively amend your delivery address.
How much am I charged for shipping?
The shipping cost can vary depending the distance traveled by our carrier. This charge can be automatically added to your order or be informed when confirming the order with our selling department.
What happens if my delivery goes missing or is damaged?
In case of any problems with your delivery, Cakes and More will resolve the issue as quickly as possible with as little inconvenience to you. We will make every effort to contact you and keep you informed of the progress problem is solved.
